Chris, Sharon Steve and Steve arrive at the track Friday Evening and as I am coming up the road I see them turn in, talk about timing!!We spot the trailer , unhook and head to the motel
Saturday morning, we set up the mobile Redneck Compound and commence getting the bike ready, for round 1 of qualifying .
Saturday Qualifying Round 1
We make some last minute changes and just make it to the starting line, we are scheduled to be paired with Larry but Chris tells them to go ahead and single. Good thing as in the lane we were supposed to be in had debris and they catch it right before we run.
Track clear, Sharon hits the starter we start the RNE and bring it to the burnout box and Chris commences to make a good smokey burnout, Steve Squared returns Chris and the RNE to the starting line, Chris lines up ,lighs fl;ash and BOOM he is off the line with a good short time.
Just past the 1/8 mile Chris senses the bike is nosing over and quickly shut it down.
They get the bike back, leak down is good, plugs look great.
Saturday Qualifying Round 2
After run 1 Chris looks at the Racepak data and something going on with the boost?? We test the line and transducer and determine that is good. Chris makes the call to change out the Supercharger and we manage to just miss this round of qualifying.
Saturday Qualifying Round 3
We are ready for this pass !
Track is clear, Sharon hits the starter to start the RNE and we bring it to the burnout box and Chris hits the throttle to make a good smokey burnout, Steve Squared returns Chris and the RNE to the starting line, Chris lines up ,lights flash and BOOM he is off the line with a another good short time. Flames high and even!!
Just past the 330 mark the bike knocks Chris’s foot off the peg and he wisely shuts it down. We end up qualifying #5
The numbers we do get from the two short shots are very encouraging.
They get the bike back, leak down is good, plugs look great, again

Race day Sunday, Round 1
Weather data looks decent today as it did Saturday.
We are set to go out against Larry McBride second pair,
