Man Cup World Finals 2020: Race Ready

On November 18 through the 22nd, of the year 2020, the Man Cup motorcycle drag racing sanction is set to launch the 44th Annual Fuel Tech World Finals, presented by Wiseco, at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Adel, Ga. This will be the last big race of the 2020 motorcycle drag racing season and racers from all over the country are preparing the biggest and baddest drag bikes on planet earth to do battle and shatter records on the magnificently prepared SGMP, 1320 foot racing surface.

This year’s event will feature set up and open testing beginning on Wednesday and Thursday from 10AM until 5:30 PM, November 18-19. On Friday, there will be open testing early in the day from 9 AM till 3:15 PM, with the staging lanes closed promptly at 3:15, to prepare for the opening qualifying session of the event.

There will be two professional class dedicated test sessions Friday at 10:30AM and 2 PM.


Actual racing competition will commence on Friday, 11/20, at 4:30 PM with Q-1 for the professional classes as follows: Top Fuel, Top Fuel Twin, Hawaya Racing Pro Fuel, JE Piston Pro Mod, N/X Pro Open, Pro Stock, APE Pro Street, Shinko WPS Real Street. Grudge racers will be allotted one practice session.

Q-1 for the Sportsman racers will follow the pro session beginning with: Grothus Ultra 4.60, MTC Super Comp, Super Eliminator, Wiseco ST-Fighter, and Star Power Top Gas class racing.

Following the Sportsman class first qualifier, ET series racing will commence with the initial time trial, one of two, for: Liska Racing Street ET, Vance & Hines Race Shop V-Twin and MPS Pro ET bikes. New to the World Finals this year in the professional ranks will be the class of Pro Stock Motorcycle utilizing the NHRA class rules. In the past, some NHRA PSM racers have attended the World Finals and raced in the Pro Open class. Pit gate opens at 8:00am and will close at 6:00pm

ManCup operated Tune-n-Test program 9:00am - 3:15pm @ 75.00 per bike. The rear of the lanes will close promptly at 3:15 in an attempt to run out all bikes in the lanes by 4:30pm deadline. The front of the lanes will close at 4:30 regardless to begin qualifying.  Any riders remaining in the lanes at that time will be afforded one test pass between before Sportsman qualifying later in the evening. 

Two dedicated time slots for Pro class testing after track prep. Will begin with slick tire and end with street tire.  10:30am   &  2:00pm
