CT Motorsports Presents Hogs Gone Wild at Tulsa Raceway Park, 4-5 June 2021
On Friday, June 4th, 2021, the Hogs Gone Wild bagger racing sanction has come to the beautiful Tulsa Raceway Park facility in Tulsa Oklahoma for race #4 of an 8 race season. Chuck and Tammy Briggs of CT Motorsports are thrilled to have their favorite sanction at their home track. “We have always wanted to see this happen” commented Chuck Briggs, the day before the race. “Ever since we became involved with Bagger racing and the Hog’s Gone Wild (HGW) sanction, we have hoped for this this develop.” Now it’s a reality.
Roger Edgerton, the lead man for HGW commented on Thursday about the pending race, “This place is fabulous, it’s got an awesome shutdown, you could stop anything here. I bet Larry McBride would like this track.” If you know Roger, you can sense how excited he is to have the HGW sanction racing here at Tulsa. Earlier in the day, a professional NHRA Pro Stock team was here testing and they hammered the left lane for hours. Not one single time did that car break traction while testing.
The Tulsa Raceway Park (TRP) staff were busy Wednesday evening, getting ready for the Thursday, private test session. They had the track spot on to NHRA standards, which, if you do not already know, is generally a 380nm torque test standard. HGW racers can expect a stout racing surface this event, if not the best they’ve seen all year so far, half-way though the 2021 season as the TRP staff were dragging the track at this writing.
