DOB: 1/17/78 Birthtown: Stoneville, N.C Hometown: Stoneville, NC

When I first saw Shawn Gann sitting on his bike in the staging lanes with his girlfriend Angie, I thought show time. All the yellow, the presence of their racing uniforms, and their attraction of the cameras add up to a team destined to showcase as well as show up. Shawn Gann races well also, but he and Angie, an attractive youthful pair, stand out even when they are sitting still. Watch for a while though, and you will soon see Shawn launch his drag bike, and all that color will blur into speed.

This time his blond hair had succumbed to a razor and he sported fashionable new sun-glasses, shades on the cutting edge. I searched for a final word for this talented racer, and many words jumped to the page. I kept looking however, and settled on one final word. Gary Larsen agreed. Shawn Gann is…
